Jack Red reviews The Adventures of Batman and Robin

Hi everyone this is Jack Red, I decided to review two good games based on Batman: The Animated Series which was one of my favorite shows growing up.

First up is the version I grew up playing the Genesis version now it can be fun at times to play but the difficulty does go up really high.

The music isn't too bad with the look of the game staying close to what it's based on which is a good thing to have in licensed games.

The story is Mr. Freeze going wild on Gotham City then helps The Joker, Two Face and The Mad Hatter escape to make it harder to stop him.

It plays kinda like Gunstar Heroes and Contra except the difficulty is higher than those games making it one of the hardest on the console.

I do like the level skip code though it just skips parts of the level to help make the game easier for you just not enough to have people playing the fuck out of it.

The levels in this game from what I played were really long in fact the second level has got to be the hardest flying level I ever played in an game.

There's only four levels yet by the way it plays I felt there was more now I found out this was the first game by these developers Clockwork Tortoise.

The controls were okay but they could've been better like the ones used in the SNES version works great.

I didn't like how the villains were used in this game though I do like the option to play the game as Robin which even the SNES version lacked that.

I did like the episode start for each level though not as good as the SNES version which actually looks like the ones used in the episodes.

The regular enemies can add up to the difficulty though a lot of the bosses I faced are really hard like taking on Harley Quinn in that giant robot.

The second level took the difficulty so high that I was lucky enough to beat it I mean you fight so many bosses with one of them having multiple stages.

Really guys you made a game based on that awesome cartoon that's so hard that I must call it the single hardest Batman game I ever played.

In conclusion it's not a bad game it just doesn't compare to the SNES version though it sure harder than Batman Forever on both consoles.

Now I been noticing a lot of Batman fans love the SNES version so I am going to do my best reviewing such a great game.

I found out about this game from an episode of The Angry Video Game Nerd who he recommended this with many Batman games so I figured to check it out.

I believe this was released after Batman Returns on the console made by the same company Konami who made many of my favorite games.

You only play as Batman though at times Robin will help you out now that's how it was on the show.

The dialogue in this game is really good I love reading what the character say especially Batman and The Joker.

There's eight levels compared to the Genesis version which had only half plus they're all fun as hell to play.

This is one of the few Batman games to have wall jumps which isn't used as much as the NES Batman game.

They brought in as many villains as they can that was done right compared to the Genesis version that failed pretty short.

The controls are so much better than most Batman games I played so I got to say I would play
this game non stop in the near future.

You are actually given gadgets that can help you get through the levels now to be honest this was done so much better than the shitty Batman Forever game.

Password system helps out the gamers out because it helps continue the game or bring you back where you are stuck either way Konami knew this was help so why wasn't that in Batman Returns on the same console I don't know.

The difficulty is perfect unlike the Genesis version that almost made me go insane since it's so god damn hard.

The graphics are amazing plus they look even closer to the show than any other version of the game.

I really like the boss fights in this version because it isn't too hard yet too easy so I think Konami did a much better job delivering on giving us good boss fights though I still prefer some of the TMNT boss fights over this game.

Before I go on there isn't many boss fights I would say is better than TMNT in this game but it does have some innovative ones that I love talking about like The Joker on a Roller Coast wow.

My favorite level is without question the seventh level now did you ever wonder how that maze was on the show well you can in this game.

It kinda reminds me of the level in Gunstar Heroes with the board game theme except the bosses are easier and you got freedom where you want to go.

I got to say this was my favorite Batman game from Konami wow it's so damn good game now I wish I had the SNES a little longer before this game came out then I could've played it for a few years.

The Genesis version was a huge disappointment yet the SNES version really brings back memories I have with the show so it wins as the single best game based on that show I ever played.

I hope you guys enjoy it and see all of you later good bye.
